Stay away from Credit Repair Companies that do any of the following

  • Charge hundreds or even thousands of dollars up front for Credit Repair.
  • Unwilling to tell you your legal rights and what you are able to do yourself.
  • Recommend that you not contact a credit bureau directly.
  • Insist that you pay for credit repair services before any services are provided.
  • Advise you to dispute all negative information on your credit report, even if it’s accurate.
  • Tells you to provide false information on your applications for credit or a loan.
  • Take any action that seems illegal, such as creating a new credit identity.
  • Informs you to misrepresent your Social Security Number.
  • advises you to obtain an EIN from the IRS under false Pretenses.
  • Advertises FAST Credit repair before going over your credit history.
