Stay away from Credit Repair Companies that do any of the following
- Charge hundreds or even thousands of dollars up front for Credit Repair.
- Unwilling to tell you your legal rights and what you are able to do yourself.
- Recommend that you not contact a credit bureau directly.
- Insist that you pay for credit repair services before any services are provided.
- Advise you to dispute all negative information on your credit report, even if it’s accurate.
- Tells you to provide false information on your applications for credit or a loan.
- Take any action that seems illegal, such as creating a new credit identity.
- Informs you to misrepresent your Social Security Number.
- advises you to obtain an EIN from the IRS under false Pretenses.
- Advertises FAST Credit repair before going over your credit history.
